Green Coffee Bean Products
What's the difference between green coffee beans and regular 'brown' coffee beans?
When the coffee bean is harvested it is a light green colour. The process of making the bean brown comes from roasting; this gives the coffee bean a bold taste that many enjoy as their first drink of the day. The roasting process unfortunately greatly reduces a compound called chlorogenic acid that exists in the bean. This compound is now known to be a very beneficial antioxidant. The following supplements all have extract of green coffee in them to enhance their antioxidant value.
