Our Himalayan Pink Salt is naturally pure and unpolluted, hailing from the “Salt Range” of the Himalayas. Pink salt is thought to have formed over 250 million years ago from trapped salt water when the Himalayas formed. It is imbued with minerals from the surrounding rocks which give this salt its vibrant pink colour.
Himalayan Black Salt has a slightly sulphuric taste when eaten raw, which changes to the taste of normal salt when cooked. Black salt is high in natural iron and has a long history of use in Ayurveda as well as a delicious culinary ingredient. Both our pink and black Himalayan salts come in either coarse or fine form.
Indigo Herbs Sea Salt is available in either coarse or fine form. Sea salt retains many of the naturally occurring minerals from the sea and is rich in electrolytes. It also retains up to 60 trace minerals, available to the body in highly absorbable form.
