Guayusa leaves are lightly caffeinated and contain no tannins meaning it has no hint of bitterness and thus makes a very smooth and fresh tasting alternative to black or green tea or coffee.

Indigo Herbs Guayusa Tea consists of the leaves of the Ilex guayusa plant which have been carefully selected, cleaned, dried and finely cut. After the leaves have been cleaned they are inspected for animal damage and selected for the best specimens to be cut and made into Guayusa Tea. The selected leaves are then dehydrated until there is little moisture in the plant material. The dried Guayusa is then tested for pollutants before being made ready for shipping.
