The Guduchi shrub is native to India where it is also known as "Heavenly Elixir". It is a staple in Ayurvedic traditions where its roots, stems and leaves have all been used medicinally for thousands of years. The name Guduchi comes from the Sanskrit word that means, "imperishable". Guduchi is known as an "adaptogenic" herb, meaning it can strengthen the body's defenses against anxiety, stress and illness. It is especially indicated in the management of allergy symptoms and is renowned for its immune boosting qualities.

Guduchi Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice.

Traditionally Taken: Take 2-3 ml 2-3 times per day, or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.

20 drops from the glass dropper equals approximately 1ml.

Contraindications:

Guduchi can cause gastrointestinal upset when taken in large doses for long periods of time.

Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to a lack of safety studies.

Do not use if you are on anti-diabetic medication.

After careful harvesting, selection and cleaning the Guduchi plants used to make this tincture undergo a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials.
