This fantastic incense is a part of the long standing tradition of the Eastern Orthodox Church. It has a broad but even pungent aroma that’s musky, honeyed and wonderful.
Very much used to calm emotions, Jasmine Incense is a very good remedy for depression as it produces a feelings of confidence, optimism and euphoria whilst balancing the energies. In herb lore, jasmine is said to attract love, wealth and prophetic dreams. In addition to its aphrodisiac qualities, Jasmine is known to be calming and sedative, good for nervous exhaustion and stress. The Byzantine Monks who make this incense do so on sacred Mount Athos and use it in religious ceremonies and rituals for thanks giving.
The exact method and recipe has remained a secret since the monks have started making this incense. All jasmine plants and ingredients are cultivated locally in Greece.
