Pregnancy Care Aromatherapy Pure Essential Oil Blend 10ml is excellent for use in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy. These oils are excellent for the skin, preventing stretch marks and can be used safely over the belly area.
This essential oil blend has been added to a carrier oil and can be applied to the skin directly. An aromatherapy body massage is a wonderful way to benefit from the therapeutic effects. Simply pour a little oil into the palm of the hand and rub across the body in long massage strokes. Do not go out in direct sunlight after an aromatherapy massage. Allow 12 hours for the oils to fully absorb before washing the skin.

Manufacture Process
Pregnancy Care Aromatherapy Massage Oil Blend is hand blended in house following our unique proprietary aromatherapy blend recipes, designed for your benefit by our in house aromatherapist. Greatest care and attention is taken when selecting the ingredients, and the synergy of each oil blend is created with your wellbeing in mind. All the ingredients are 100% pure and natural, and they are bottled in pharmacopeial grade glass bottles to ensure the longest shelf life. This massage oil consists of 72% Almond oil, 15% Wheatgerm oil, 10% Marigold oil and 2.5% Pregnancy Care essential oil mix. Contains 0.5% Vitamin E as a preservative
The essential oils we use in our unique blends are manufactured to GMP standards using steam distillation or cold pressing. During the "steam distillation" process, the botanical material is placed in a still and steam is forced over the material. The hot steam helps to release the aromatic molecules from the plant material since the steam forces open the pockets in which the oils are kept. Molecules of the volatile oils then escape and evaporate into the steam. The temperature of the steam needs to be carefully controlled - just enough to force the plant material to let go of the essential oil, yet not too hot as to burn the plant material or the essential oil. The steam now containing the essential oil is passed through a cooling system to condense the steam which forms a liquid. The essential oil is then separated from the water and bottled, resulting in 100% pure essential oil.
During the “cold pressing” process, the botanical material (such as the rinds of fruits) are placed in a spike-filled container and slowly punctured. The cold press machines also utilise centrifugal force to help separate the oil from the rest of the plant pulp and liquid. The puncturing and spinning process releases the essential oils, which are then collected and bottled resulting in 100% pure essential oil.
All of the carrier oils we use in our proprietary blends are cold pressed and 100% pure.
