A smooth smoking mix on its own A good base to be customised with other herbs / extracts It was a bit coarse in texture and benefited from chopping with a heavy knife on a wooden chopping board to make it suitable for pipe or chillum.

The mix itself is pleasant enough (the rose petals are a nice touch), but as a pipe smoker I find it just a bit too fine; perhaps aimed more at cigarette smokers? The packet arrived in super-quick time.

This is a great gentle smoke, it responds well to a regrind if a finer leaf is prefered. Mellow and light on the chest. A great base mix if you have another favourite, mugwort, damiana or scullcap. I intend to use this as one for my sacred pipe mixes. It's a regular and makes a small pleasure if staying off the tobacco is a personal choice to secure.

Purchased Shaman Spirit Blended Herbal Smoking Mix. The product seemed ok at first, however, when taking a small amount of smoking mix out of the packaging I discovered a snail shell mixed within the contents. This may have been a one off, however, I do find it completely unacceptable. Had I not noticed the shell myself I more than likely would have inadvertently crushed the shell and ultimately smoked it...which is a disgusting thought. All in all, quality control needs improvement. As a vegetarian, this experience has put me off purchasing from this website again - which is a real shame as I've been unable to find a similar store offering similar items.

Requires grinding and some care to be taken in proper preparation, but then sit back and enjoy a smoke that tastes and smells good and satisfies the need to smoke without the nicotine addiction.
