Irish Moss from Indigo Herbs is nutritionally dense, raw dried red algae. It is exceptionally high in iodine which is known for its contribution to healthy thyroid function. Soak for 20 minutes in clean water. Rinse well and soak again making sure any sand is removed. Once soaked and cleaned simmer the moss in clean water for about 12 to 15 minutes or until tender. The thickened water and moss can be then be blended to make a gel to thicken up smoothies or puddings.
