Jergon Sacha Products
Jergon Sacha is a herbaceous perennial flowering plant of the Amazon rainforest understory. It consists of a long, thick stem borne from an underground rhizome, with deeply divided leaves, reaching a height of 2-4m. When fertile it produces a flower stem that can reach 1-2m in height, with a large, maroon flower with bright red-orange seeds. The trunk like plant stem has a mottled colouring, resembling a poisonous snake indigenous to the area in which it grows. The local people use the rhizome as an antidote to these snake bites and for it's cleansing properties. When brewed in a tea, Jergon Sacha has a light, nutty taste and aroma. Indigo Herbs is delighted to offer our new Jergon Sacha Tea and Jergon Sacha Tincture which harnesses the power of this potent herb in easy to take tincture form.
