Manufacture Process
Indigo Herbs Liquorice Root Tea comes from plants that are harvested and grown in plantations that grow Liquorice for the specific use as a herbal ingredient. All plants must be over 3 years old before the root is mature enough to be dug up for harvest. The roots are cut away, cleaned, inspected for quality and damage before being air dried out of direct sunlight. The root is then shredded into strips before being tested for pollutants and foreign chemical profiles.
