Mandarin essential oil can be put into a hot bath or used topically on the skin in a carrier oil or cream. Mandarin oil can also be vaporized in an oil burner to set an atmosphere in a room, or a steam inhalation can be done to ingest directly into body. Use 6-8 drops per bath and 10 -18 drops per 30ml of carrier oil. See Essential Oil Dosage Chart
Blends well with; basil, sandalwood, lavender, spearmint and citrus oils including; grapefruit, wild orange, tangerine, lemon, lime and bergamot.
Essential oils need to be diluted first; never apply an essential oil directly to the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Mandarin should be avoided during pregnancy because it is a uterine stimulant. Excessive amounts can cause symptoms of poisoning. It should also be avoided by epileptics.

Manufacture Process
Our essential oils are manufactured to GMP standards using steam distillation or cold pressing.
Indigo Herbs Mandarin Essential Oil is extracted using the “cold pressing” method. Plants and plant parts (such as the rinds of fruits) are placed in a spike-filled container and slowly punctured. The cold press machines also utilise centrifugal force to help separate the oil from the rest of the plant pulp and liquid. The puncturing and spinning process releases the essential oils, which are then collected and bottled resulting in 100% pure essential oil.
