Marshmallow Root Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice and taken daily.
Traditionally Taken: 2-3ml taken 2-3 times per day, or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.

Mature Marshmallow plants are harvested for their roots to be made into Marshmallow Root Tincture. After the roots have been dug up and cleaned they are inspected for animal damage and selected for the best specimens to be processed. The selected Marshmallow roots then undergo a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials.
