Nettle Root is considered safe but some people may experience mild stomach upset or fluid retention.
Indigo Herbs Nettle Root Tea is produced from mature Nettle plants that have been harvested for their roots. After the roots have been dug up and cleaned they are inspected for animal damage and selected for the best specimens to be cut and made into Nettle Root Tea. The selected roots are then dehydrated until there is little moisture in the plant material. The dried Nettle Root is then tested for heavy metals and other pollutants before being made ready for shipping.
