Preparation:
Pre-soak the beans overnight (1 cup of beans to 4 cups of water) - the beans will swell to twice their size.
Cooking:
Drain and rinse thoroughly
Put in a pan and cover with fresh water
Bring to the boil then reduce, cover and simmer for 1 hour or until soft.
