Manufacture Process
Indigo Herbs Organic Cinnamon Powder comes from Sri Lanka, the home of high quality Cinnamon. Once the Cinnamon trees have reached the age of 2 years they are cut to the stump and the stump covered in soil. The next year the stump will sprout branches that will grow from the stump and it is these branches that are used for cinnamon. The branches are cut when they have reached the required size and stripped of their outer bark. When left in the sun the inner bark comes apart and curls into quills that is seen specifically in cinnamon sticks. These quills are then graded into different sizes and qualities before being tested for pollutants and packaged up. This whole process complies with GMP standards and is quality assured by Indigo Herbs.
