Manufacture Process
Indigo Herbs Organic Virgin Coconut Oil comes from sustainable co-operatives where the palms are grown in certified organic plantations. Once the coconuts have been hand harvested they are gently dried, cold pressed and bottled. Our Virgin Coconut Oil is cold-pressed using a centrifugal process, which ensures the highest yield and retention of beneficial nutrients. Through the pressing stages the butter/oil that is extracted is never heated above 42°C. This means that the resulting butter/oil can be classed as a RAW food with a 50% lauric acid content.
