Our berries are then freeze dried and powdered for maximum nutrient retention. Manufacture Process
Maqui (Aristotelia chilensis) is a tree native to the Valdivian temperate rainforests of Chile. Each Wild Maqui tree can produce up to 10kg of berries per year which are carefully selected and harvested between December to March and then freeze dried to preserve the abundent levels of polyphenols. Throughout the process all organic standards are strictly adhered to. Indigo Herbs Maqui Berry Powder is free from all allergens, free from GMOs and all other contaminants including heavy metals.
