Though its origin is rather obscure, Papaya may represent the fusion of two or more species of Carica native to Mexico and Central America. Today it is cultivated throughout the tropical world and into the warmest parts of the subtropics. Archaeological evidence suggests that the Ancient Mayans worshipped the Papaya tree and called it the "tree of life". In Ancient Mayan times the seed was apparently used to treat all manner of stomach complaints. This deliciously juicy fruit, with its flesh reminiscent of tropical sunsets, was so loved by Christopher Columbus that he called it "the Fruit of Angels".

Papaya Seed Oil can be used as a light, non-greasy carrier oil for an aromatherapy massage or bath. Just choose your favourite essential oils, dilute and use for a regenerating and replenishing massage or soothing and relaxing bath.

Manufacture Process

Indigo Herbs Papaya Seed Oil is extracted using the “cold pressing” method. Plants and plant parts are placed in a spike-filled container and slowly punctured. The cold press machines also utilise centrifugal force to help separate the oil from the rest of the plant pulp and liquid. The puncturing and spinning process releases the oils, which are then collected and bottled resulting in 100% pure, cold pressed oil.

Paw Paw

The first time you eat Papaya Seeds try just 2 seeds taken with a protein based meal.
If these are well-tolerated, then add another 2 seeds each time until you reach about a quarter of a teaspoon.
After at least 3 days of taking a quarter of teaspoon without side effects you can move up to half a teaspoon of Papaya Seeds.
After another 3 days you can choose to move up to a full teaspoon of fresh seeds, though this may be too much for some sensitive people, or just stay on half a teaspoon which is likely to provide similar health benefits.
If at any point you experience side effects from eating Papaya Seeds then take a day off from them and start again at half the dose.

Contraindications:

Do not consume if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a latex allergy, have a stomach ulcer or are on blood thinning medications. Can affect male fertility. 

The finest Organic Papaya Seeds are removed from the fruit, cleaned and dehydrated. The seeds are then tested for toxins before being made ready for shipping.
