Pau D'arco Powder can be added to smoothies, encapsulated or mixed with a little water or juice.
A typical dosage of Pau D'arco is 1/2g or 1/4 tsp of powdered bark up to three times per day, or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.
Pau D'arco may affect the blood's ability to clot and could interfere with blood-thinning medication. Do not use Pau D'arco for two weeks before any scheduled surgery.
Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
Do not consume in high doses - side effects can include; vomiting, dizziness and nausea. Please contact your healthcare practitioner should you experience any of these side effects.
