Plantain Leaf Tea from Indigo Herbs is made from the highest quality Plantain leaves. Plantain has an extremely long history of traditional use and was transported to the Americas on "the soles of white men's feet", hence its nickname "Englishman's Foot". Plantain Leaf tea is pleasantly earthy and fruity with a honey-like background and slightly sweet scent. The caramel-coloured tea is smooth and easy to drink, with naturally astringent properties.

Manufacture Process
Indigo Herbs Plantain Leaf loose Tea comes from plants that are grown for the specific use as tea. When this perennial is at peak maturity, in the summer, the leaves are separated from the root and air dried in the shade so none of the chemical constituents are destroyed by the sun. The leaf cut is then tested again for any pollutants before being shipped. This process complies with GMP standards and has the Indigo Herbs seal of approval.
