To assist the internal workings of the body in pregnancy we have included a pure Raspberry Leaf Tea that is easy to prepare and extremely beneficial to the uterus. Tea comes with a part stainless steel, part silicon tea infuser.
Enlivening the air with warm invigorating fruity green scents we have included our proprietary pure essential oil blend - Pregnancy Care. This oil preparation has been specifically formulated with calming herbs for pregnant women to infuse the atmosphere with an ambience of tranquillity. Locked inside are the essences of Mandarin, Lavender and Geranium which can be permeated into the air by diluting in a little water and evaporating in an oil burner or hot bath. To combat stretch marks and care for the skin whilst also complimenting the Pregnancy Care Essential Oil, we have the Pregnancy Care Massage Oil. This fantastic blend of natural oil can be safely used daily over the belly area ensuring every pore is administered with reinforcing herbs leaving the skin supple and smooth. Raspberry Leaf Tea
Grab a teapot, a cafeteria or your tea making equipment of choice. The botanical ingredients can be made into an herbal tea by infusing the herb in boiling water. Use 1 cup of boiling water per person. Let the tea brew for 5 - 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
Serving: 1-2 teaspoons of the leaves to 1 cup of boiling water.
Teaspoon Weight: 1 teaspoon equals 1 gram (1 tsp = 1g)
The Pregnancy Care Essential Oil
The traditional ways of ingesting essential oils are;
- Via the respiratory system and by the olfactory senses
- Through the skin, by applying via massage, baths or topically applied creams or compresses.
For therapeutic use the pure essential oils can be: diffused in an oil burner, or directly inhaled as a steam inhalation or dispersed into the environment as a room spray. These methods enable the oils to be ingested through the respiratory system.
The oils can also be added to a carrier such as an oil or a cream and applied to the skin directly. There are certain areas of the skin that are more permeable such as pulse points on the wrists and temples, so drops of diluted essential oils can be applied here for effective absorption. (Essential oils need to be diluted when applied directly to the skin). The oils can also be absorbed by adding to a bath as neat drops, or diluted into a light oil, or milk. (Both the oil and milk dilute the intensity of the oils and help the oils disperse into the bath water, it is recommended that the oils are diluted particularly for sensitive skin and children.)
The Pregnancy Care Massage Oil
The Pregnancy Care essential oil blend has been added to a carrier oil and can be applied to the skin directly. An aromatherapy body massage is a wonderful way to benefits from the therapeutic effects. Simple pour a little oil into the palm of the hand and rub across the body in long massage strokes. Do not go out in direct sunlight after an aromatherapy massage. Allow 12 hours for the oils to fully absorb before washing the skin.
The Pregnancy Care Pulse Point Roller
This essential oil blend has been added to a carrier oil and can be applied to the skin directly. There are certain areas of the skin that are more permeable such as pulse points on the wrists and temples, so this therapeutic blend can be applied here for effective absorption.

Raspberry Leaf Tea
The Albanian Raspberry leaves that make up Indigo Herbs Raspberry Leaf Tea is a perennial that fruits from Spring to Autumn and are specifically grown for use as tea. The leaves are plucked and dried out of direct sunlight to ensure all the active chemical constituents are kept in the leaf matter. After dying, the leaves are screened and tested for pollutants so only best and purest leaves are included in this Raspberry Leaf Tea.
Pregnancy Care Massage Oil, Pulse Point Roller & Essential Oil:
These oil blends are hand blended in house following our unique proprietary aromatherapy blend recipes, designed for your benefit by our in house aromatherapist. Greatest care and attention is taken when selecting the ingredients, and the synergy of each oil blend is created with your wellbeing in mind. All the ingredients are 100% pure and natural, and they are bottled in pharmacopeial grade glass bottles to ensure the longest shelf life.
All the essential oils we use in our unique blends are manufactured to GMP standards using steam distillation, extraction or expression. During steam distillation the plant matter is put into boiling water or infused with steam. The steam is collected and the oils are separated from the water. During extraction, a solvent is used to extract the oil, by creating a concrete. This concrete is made up of plant matter, resins, waxes, and essential oils. A second solvent, such as ethyl alcohol is used to extract the essential oils from the concrete, this creates an absolute. During expression the plant matter is pressed (at cool temperatures) to release the oils. All of the carrier oils we use in our proprietary blends are 100% natural pure and cold pressed.
