Manufacture Process
Indigo Herbs Rhodiola Rosea Tincture comes from responsibly sourced root crops. After a year of flowering and growth, only a small proportion of the root is cut and prepared. The rest of the root is left to grow and flower for the next year’s harvest. After the root has been dug up it is cleaned and selected to ensure only the best root is used. The plant material then undergoes a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the blend. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials.
