Indigo Herbs Rosehip Powder is produced from mature farmed rosehips. Usually found in the wild, the rosehips used to make this high quality powder come from small farmed plantations where the rosehips are reared and picked at the onset of winter. After all the hips have been carefully washed, they are selected and damaged fruits discarded to leave only the best crop. The rosehips are then gently dehydrated and freeze dried very fast to keep as much vitamin C content in the fruit as possible. All the berries are then milled into a very fine powder ready to be tested. Several checks are made to ensure that there are no heavy metals or toxins in the powder before it is packed up and made ready for shipping.
Rosehips are rich in Vitamin C and taking too much could result in upset stomach and symptoms of detoxification.
