Senna Leaf Tea can be made into a hot herbal drink by infusing the herb in boiling water. Let the tea brew for 5 - 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
Serving:
1-2 grams of dried herb per one cup of boiling hot water as required.
Senna is contraindicated in cases of intestinal obstruction, acute intestinal inflammation (e.g. Crohn's disease), ulcerative colitis, appendicitis and abdominal pain of unknown origin.
The leaves that are used for Indigo Herbs Senna Leaf Tea come from plants that are grown specifically for the use as tea. Cultivated in close proximity, the Senna plants first reach maturity before they can be cut and dried in semi shade. Only the best prime examples of the leaf are used in our tea. The plant matter is then slow dried out of direct sunlight and tested for pollutants before being made ready for shipping.
