Siberian Ginseng Powder - Siberian Ginseng Herbal Tincture

Siberian Ginseng Powder - Siberian Ginseng Herbal Tincture

Although not a real member of the Ginseng family this amazing plant has a broad range of effects that are very similar to those to the Panax ginseng family. Here at Indigo Herbs we have recognised the unique and superior qualities of this plant to bring you Siberian Ginseng Powder and Siberian Ginseng Tincture. These two products are guaranteed to be of the highest quality so you can derive the best possible benefit in your purchase.

Originating in its natural habitat of Russia and China this herb has a long history of use in Chinese medicine where it has the name Ci Wu Jia. About 2,000 years ago the great Chinese herbalist Li Shih Chen in his exhaustive catalogue of medicinal plants noted Siberian Ginseng as a superior ingredient to be used as a tonic. According to Li Shih Chen Siberian Ginseng also has the characteristic of being able to conduct and nurture 'Chi', the life giving force, inside the body. These days Siberian Ginseng is used by Russian astronauts, athletes and as an adaptogen for all manner of symptoms and health benefits.

Native to the mountain forests of Russia, China and Japan, this plant is a member of the Araliaceae family and can be commonly found at the base of cliffs amongst oak trees. It can grow to a height of about 2 metres and tolerate a broad range of environmental conditions. Flowering in July, most of the flowers are hermaphrodite in nature.

Using Herbal and Superfood powders on a daily basis is simple, easy and can be really delicious. The simplest way is to rehydrate the powder in a little filtered water to make a shot, this can easily be prepared once, twice or three times per day if you are taking the herbs therapeutically. However sometimes the herbs can be bitter so the botanical powders can be added to a superfood smoothie instead of just water. The smoothie can be made with a base of nut milk, seed milk or non-dairy milk such as rice milk. Alternatively the main body of the smoothie can be created with fruit or vegetable juices.

Additional superfood and herb powders can be added to fortify the smoothie with extra beneficial properties. The powders are largely dissolvable and can be scooped in and then blended, shaken or stirred until fully mixed with the liquid. Any true Superfood smoothie disciple would advise that the list of possibilities is endless with the goal to feel great and potentially replace a meal with this glass of super goodness. For full instructions go to our How to take Herbal Powders page.

Another option is to use a Capsule Machine that can be bought from the Indigo Herbs website. Filling capsules with your favourite herb has never been easier when you buy a Capsule machine. You can then be sure that the capsules you are taking are 100% pure ingredients without fillers added by some companies.

Siberian Ginseng powder can be added to boiling water before use. This herbal powder can be re-hydrated in water or fruit juice, it can be encapsulated or added to a herbal powder blend. Please consult the Herbal Materia Medica or Medical Herbalist for this botanical ingredients uses.

Herbal products are usually very gentle and take time for the 'patient' to feel the benefits. My wife has Alzheimer's and I just hope that she will get some relief using these products.. It is very difficult to provide a better assessment. Otherwise your service and packaging are excellent.

Taking herbal remedies in a Tincture or Fluid extract preparation is simple and easy. The tincture can be measured out into the small ml measuring cup that comes with each bottle. (A medicine cup or spoon could also be used) and the tincture can be taken directly.

However some people do find the bitter tincture taste to be too strong, so it may be a good idea to dilute the drops in water or fruit juice. For children, the elderly, those with a sensitive constitution or those avoiding alcohol, the alcohol can be evaporated from the tincture. This can be done by putting the drops in boiling water and leaving for 10 minutes to evaporate. For full instructions go to our How to take Herbal Tincture page.

Siberian Ginseng Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice.

 Manufacture Process

The process of creating Indigo Herbs Siberian Ginseng Tincture is a very simple one which only requires the plant to be completely mature before it is harvested. After the plants have reached maturity they are dug up and the foliage cut from the root. Every root is checked for quality to make sure none have insect damage or have been subject to disease. After careful selection and cleaning the plant material undergoes a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the blend. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials. This premium quality product is 100% pure botanical ingredients, completely free of synthetic ingredients with absolutely nothing added. It is manufactured to GMP standards and Quality Assured by Indigo Herbs.

Do not take if pregnant, breast feeding or with high blood pressure. Not recommended for those taking Digoxin for heart conditions, or Barbituates for sleep or seizures. Not recommended for those taking oral anti-diabetic drugs, such as Warfarin, heparin, aspirin.

I might be slightly in love with Indigo Herbs. They had everything I wanted, and I even ordered something that a friend in the US asked me to get for her as well. My package was mailed promptly, as promised, and arrived quickly. Everything is well packed and the herbs inside are fresh and lovely. The one question I had was answered on the FAQ page. I will be ordering again soon - probably later this week!
