With a similar flavour to the pineapple, Soursop is popularly incorporated into smoothies, beverages and desserts. A number of active compounds have been identified in all main parts of the plant - including the leaf, bark, root, stem, fruit and seed. Harvested in Brazil. Cautions: Not recommended for use while pregnant or breastfeeding, for children under 18, or persons with a known medical condition including cardiovascular disorders and hypotension (low blood pressure). Taking Graviola in combination with Co-Q10 supplements and other agents that increase cellular ATP may reduce the herb's efficacy. If taken for a long period of time, supplementation with a probiotic is recommended.

Graviola / Soursop Tea

Use 1 - 2 teaspoons of Graviola Leaf per cup. Pour over boiling water and allow to steep for 10 - 15 minutes

Manufacture Process

Indigo Herbs Graviola Leaf Tea comes from plants that are grown for the specific use as tea. All plants are grown under supervision and soil checked regularly for heavy metals and toxins. When this perennial is at peak maturity the leaves and small stems are separated from the root and air dried in the shade so none of the beneficial plant compounds are destroyed by the sun. The leaf cut is then tested again for any pollutants before being shipped. This process complies with GMP standards and has the Indigo Herbs seal of approval.

Traditionally Taken: Take 2-3 ml 2-3 times per day, or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.

After careful harvesting, selection and cleaning the Graviola leaves used to make this tincture undergo a process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials.
