Manufacture Process
Only the finest Suma Roots are used to make Indigo Herbs Suma Root Powder. After the Suma plant has reached full maturity, the extensive root system is dug from the ground. This process is painstaking since the roots are far travelling and sometimes entangle with other roots. The Suma roots are then cleaned and screened, chopped up and air dried out of the sun for a short time before being placed in a specially engineered dehydrator. After all the moisture has been evaporated the Suma root pieces are milled into a fine powder and is made ready for shipping.
