Swedish Bitters is a traditional herbal tonic blend, the use of which dates back to the 15th century to Swiss physician & alchemist Paracelsus. The modern formulation was rediscovered and formally labelled as Swedish Bitters by Swedish medics in the 18th century, with many modern herbalists claiming it to be a cure for a large number of ailments. A bountiful blend of high quality herbs are expertly selected, and extracted into alcohol. Wormwood, Myrrh Gum, Manna Ash, Senna Leaf, Rhubarb Root, Synthetic Camphor, Angelica Root, Dwarf Carline Thistle Root, Zedoary Root and Theriac (a blend of Angelica Root, Calamus Root, Valerian Root, Zedoary Root, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Myrrh & Black Cohosh Root) are all perfectly balanced in this tonic. Swedish Tincture

Swedish Bitters Tincture can be added to water or fruit juice and taken when required.

Traditionally Taken: 2-3ml taken 2-3 times per day, or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner.

The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials.
