Place the White Sage Smudge Stick on a heat-proof burning surface such as an abolone shell. Light the wand by holding a flame to it until it begins to smoke. Shake the wand gently if it catches light until it is just producing a fragrant smoke. Once there is a nice smoke going, use your hand or a feather to waft the incense around the areas you wish to purify.
Our White Sage Wand is produced from plants that have been specifically grown for the use of incense. Once harvested, the stalks and leaves are bundled together and bound with string. The "smudge sticks" are then placed on a drying screen for 7 - 10 days until they are completely dried out.
