It has been reported that thujone may cause nerve damage and other side effects. Do not take if you are pregnant. Take only in small doses and for no more than 4-5 weeks at a stretch. Manufacture Process
When the flowering tops of the Wormwood plant are mature the plant is stripped of all leaves and dried in shade; this is so none of the chemical constituents are lost through contact with the sun. The leaf and flower matter are then screened to make sure only the very best material passes on to the process of cold percolation in order to extract the active constituents into tincture form. The cold percolation method employs a gradient circulation of the solution which keeps the plant ingredients in perpetual contact with the ethanol. This technique is faster and more efficient than maceration and ensures there is less waste of precious plant materials. This premium quality product is manufactured to GMP standards and Quality Assured by Indigo Herbs. It is 100% pure botanical ingredients, completely free of synthetic ingredients with absolutely nothing added.
