Ever since Kay can remember she has always had a passion for baking. It all came from helping her Grandad cook Sunday roast or making fairy cakes with her Nan. She always remembers the little round red bowl they would use to make the cake batter, and licking the spoon afterwards. When studying Journalism at University, Kay plucked up the courage to start her blog Tea and Toast which later turned into Little House Kitchen. This created an outlet where she could share her love of baking with other people whilst inventing hearty, wholesome food that is both comforting and forgiving.
